H.E.L.P. Safety Sponsorship
Submitted By Dave Pratt on Tuesday, February 10, 2015

H.E.L.P. Safety Services is proud to announce that this year the Canary Cup Golf Tournament raised monies to assist under-privileged children with the opportunity to play minor league hockey this upcoming season.

H.E.L.P. Safety Services are so proud to be able to play our part in the community and support minor league hockey. The smiles on the faces of the kids are what make this all worthwhile. On behalf of H.E.L.P. SS, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the Canary Cup and we would like to wish the AHHA all the best in the coming season – you’ll certainly see us in the stands cheering on the kids all season long!

The Canary Cup acts as a yearly opportunity to appreciate the hard work of all the individuals who work with us. The tournament acts as a thank you to all those who have helped to make H.E.L.P. S.S. the company that it is today!
In addition, H.E.L.P. Safety Services was a long-time supporter of the Ontario M.O.L. Golf Tournament and continues to be a yearly sponsor and supporter of youth sports teams and activities across local Ontario communities including, but not limited to, Mississauga, Streetsville, Halton Hills and Guelph.

The Canary Cup is an annual charity golf tournament hosted by H.E.L.P. Safety Services, in association with sponsors and business partners.

The tournament that takes place in early June at the Pike Lake Golf Resort, has enjoyed 10 years of success while helping to raise money, and support for minor sports in our local communities. The tournament was established in 2004 in memory of a dedicated Health & Safety colleague, trainer and true friend, Brian Canary.

To date, The Canary Cup has helped to raise just under $20,000 and this year, with the money raised at the 2014 Canary Cup, we were able to sponsor 4 minor hockey players, who without this funding, would not have been able to play hockey this season.
