Santa claus Parade- Road Closures.

Dear community partners The Acton firefighters association is hosting our annual Santa Claus parade on Saturday, November 17 from 12:30 PM until 3 PM. This correspondence is to inform you of the road closures that are going to take place within the Acton town limits during the parade.


The parade route takes place from Acton Boulevard, west on Queen Street, North on Yonge street, west on Mill Street, north on Main St., West on Knox Street entering into Prospect Park.

The town of Halton Hills will be posting detour signs at highway 25 and 25 Side Rd. 25 Side Rd. And Dublin line. Dublin line and Highway seven . Highway seven and Main St. N.  Queen St. and Church Hill Road. Halton Regional police will also be on scene at these locations to assist drivers in finding their way to your facilities during the parade.

The signs are to assist drivers coming to Acton for other events during this time. Your Facilities and services will be directly affected by the road closures during this time and we would ask if possible if you could notify your user groups of the impending road closures.
