Town Implements New COVID-19 Screening Protocol
A new COVID-19 screening protocol will be in effect as of August 10 at all municipal facilities.

Screening questions adhere to direction from Halton Region’s Medical Officer of Health to help determine the likelihood of a person’s exposure to the COVID-19 virus. The screening protocol complements other health and safety measures including wearing a mask/face covering in certain public places; practicing physical distancing; frequent hand washing and enhanced cleaning protocols. The screening protocol is available online and the community is encouraged to complete screening in advance and on the day of attending a municipal facility where they will show the ‘green check mark’ on their mobile device. Facility ambassadors will also help with on-site, in-person screening. The screening program will keep an attendance log for 30 days in the event that contact tracing is required by Halton Public Health. After this period, data is automatically deleted.

To access the screening, go to:  haltonhills.ca/simpletrack

Please take a moment to try the new screening tool. It is very simple and will eliminate wait times or lineups to get into Town facilities.

Thanks
